Finding the Dub in your life

This word Dub is a funny one, the definition I intend is that of a beat focusing on the base or beat of drums. Only I mean this as in the beat that keeps us true to ourselves and stead as she goes down the river that is the beauty of life. For me it comes during euphonious conversations or whilst taking things to a level I have never heard of or seen done. I do this to traverse the boundaries and reaches of all that we know as legend or lover. This summer I found true peace and connection whilst driving Carolina skiff off along the shore of the coast at night. Many would label this foolish but when a being has full confidence in his place and time he lacks fear of the surrounding dangers. I love the ocean especially when i can cruise solo through grey of night with only the sound of true country music humming in tune with the engine audible. I had another eye opening experience such as this shortly afterward with a friend in Wyoming. We had mounted our horses at dusk and rode fearlessly through downed timber in the rain for 4 hours. we had started at nearly 7000 feet and made it about 9,700 where we tied our horses. After hours of hiking we had nearly summited a great mountain know as Rams-horn. Then we saw a lighting strike but one half a mile away. We quickly hurried down through the hail to where we seemingly magically came upon a cave right above our river, six mile creek, we huddled inside our spaciously sized cave and made a fire. It was truly neat and a moment  I knew that for now at least I am on the right path for me. I won’t go into the area of love as I have truly not had a good go at true relationship just random play as it is for most kids these days, however I am changing my ways out of desire for something deeper. This is because for me part of the Dub in my life is depth. Best wishes for all still finding the various beats you wish to live by. Remember you must find your beat before you can write your words.
