This word Dub is a funny one, the definition I intend is that of a beat focusing on the base or beat of drums. Only I mean this as in the beat that keeps us true to ourselves and stead as she goes down the river that is the beauty of life. For me it comes during euphonious conversations or whilst taking things to a level I have never heard of or seen done. I do this to traverse the boundaries and reaches of all that we know as legend or lover. This summer I found true peace and connection whilst driving Carolina skiff off along the shore of the coast at night. Many would label this foolish but when a being has full confidence in his place and time he lacks fear of the surrounding dangers. I love the ocean especially when i can cruise solo through grey of night with only the sound of true country music humming in tune with the engine audible. I had another eye opening experience such as this shortly afterward with a friend in Wyoming. We had mounted our horses at dusk and rode fearlessly through downed timber in the rain for 4 hours. we had started at nearly 7000 feet and made it about 9,700 where we tied our horses. After hours of hiking we had nearly summited a great mountain know as Rams-horn. Then we saw a lighting strike but one half a mile away. We quickly hurried down through the hail to where we seemingly magically came upon a cave right above our river, six mile creek, we huddled inside our spaciously sized cave and made a fire. It was truly neat and a moment I knew that for now at least I am on the right path for me. I won’t go into the area of love as I have truly not had a good go at true relationship just random play as it is for most kids these days, however I am changing my ways out of desire for something deeper. This is because for me part of the Dub in my life is depth. Best wishes for all still finding the various beats you wish to live by. Remember you must find your beat before you can write your words. Here I leave you with a techno song I am fond of.

There will be more to come on this but i will start with saying I strongly believe the colts will end next year 19-0. There previous loss will only further motivate the best quarterback to ever play the game, peyton manning. After watching the preseason game against the 49ers I am fully convinced that a weak AFC will crumble to the colts as well as an even weaker NFC in the superbowl. With the main threat to the colts, the respectable and powerful new england patriots neutralized by age, the road is clear to the colts. Manning will a record setting season and so will the receiving core, secondary, and pass rushers. Get ready for the show…

Dear President Obama, My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don’t believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert. I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos’n Mate. Now I live in a “rest home” located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country. One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man. So here goes. I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish. I can’t figure out what country you are the president of. You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like: ” We’re no longer a Christian nation” ” America is arrogant” – (Your wife even announced to the world,” America is mean- spirited. ” Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our war dead buried all over the globe who died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.) I’d say shame on the both of you, but I don’t think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House. After 9/11 you said,” America hasn’t lived up to her ideals.” Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn’t mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom. I don’t think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected. Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man. Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don’t, I’ll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue . You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves. And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don’t want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts , who was putting up a fight? You don’t mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don’t want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists. One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you’re the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you’re not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you’re thinking of. You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president. You’re not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That’s not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now. And I sure as hell don’t want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle… Sincerely, Harold B. Estes

The Colts have 2 starters that were undrafted and are now pro-bowl caliber players. Jeff Saturday has been an exceptional leader and player as well as defensive captain Gary Bracket. Who knows Javarris or any of these recently signed undrafted players may become a true contributor. However the main issue is the colts must once again become a team, not a manning show, but that’s for a future talk…

I bought the game at best buy for 8$ and found it to be quite fun, but back to the point there is nothing insinuating anything about him in this game. There is no bombing of city’s occupied by civilians either. Also another fact is there are no messages promoting drugs etc,. In the end game it is the United States vs. China hence my confusion with the president’s statements. Please comment on this rather embarrassing happening

After the 2010 NFL draft concluded central Michigan state’s former star QB was left undrafted but he just a couple of days ago he was picked up by the Indianapolis Colts organization. I have read through his strengths which include, size 6′5″ 230 pounds, throw power, and leadership. His throwing motion and accuracy are his weaknesses. Tom Brady was drafted in the sixth round, only a small difference between the two, also from a Michigan college. Peyton manning is the same height and about the same weight as him. Tom Brady accuracy was a question when he was drafted but he was a strong leader, look where he has taken the patriots. I think we can all agree that Brady has plenty of accuracy after his record breaking 50 touchdown 2007 season. Watch these videos and notice the quality of his throws, combine that with the leadership that draft failure Clausen doesn’t posses. Notice when Tebow was drafted because of his leadership qualities. Remember he was a freshman in this video.

While searching through Fox news.com the other day, I had to sift through stories about Obama’s health care reform to find a story that I hadn’t heard before. I found one and I gasped when I saw the tagline; “Time runs out for Jack Bauer, 24 gets cancelled after 8 seasons.” I am a huge fan of the show and have seen every single episode despite being a fan for only about a year (thank god for DVDs). I have basically been replaying every highlight of the show in my mind in preparation for the big finale and have found more to like than just the guns and explosions. I noticed several conservative political undertones that apply now more than ever. First of all, time is of the essence in the show, a notion that President Obama has yet to grasp. He said during his campaign that he would withdraw all troops from Iraq by 2009, which for the record is something that I don’t agree with. Well here we are, 2010 and no progress. In 24, every episode is exactly one hour in the plot of the show, 24 episodes=24 hours in Jack Bauer’s life. The plot of the show still continues to happen during commercials. The terrorist plots usually have a definite “time of impact” to heighten the tension. Maybe Obama should learn to have a definite time too.
So this next paragraph may be really politically incorrect, but Jack Bauer could teach Obama to not be such a liberal, both socially and politically. Politically speaking, Obama is nothing short of a communist. In fact, Fidel Castro, the communist dictator of Cuba since 1959, said that he “approved of our new health care reform bill.” Jack Bauer has taken a stand against communism multiple times during the show, the most notable of which was in the Season 4-6 story arc in which the Chinese, Arabs, and even Russians posed a direct nuclear threat to the well being of our country. Socially speaking, Jack is a man of honor and values, but not glory. He has saved our country mulitple times and has received no praise, no reward. In fact in Season 4, Jack had just stopped a nuclear missile and as a reward our paranoid president (don’t worry, he got better, he was a Republican) attempts to turn him over to the Chinese to save his own ass. Is it just me, is Obama a bit to arrogant when it comes to defending his health care plan. We’ve seen examples of how his big mouth gets him into trouble (57 states, really?) and he attempts to shrug it off his shoulders because he seems to think that he is the most charismatic person to ever sit in the Oval Office. I strongly disagree. Also, Jack Bauer and 24 have addressed the long standing moral conundrum that no one can seem to answer: the ticking time bomb scenario. In this fictional scenario, a “bad guy” knows the location of a ticking time bomb that when exploded will kill many innocent people. Is it morally OK to torture him to save more people? Jack Bauer would say yes, Obama would say no. So lets analyze this, Obama would rather respect a convicted terrorist’s “rights” and kill innocent Americans. Jack doesn’t just blindly follow the law, he strives to achieve something higher: justice, defined as “giving each his due.” He will save the greatest number of lives possible, doing “whatever it takes” as he frequently says. The Bush Administration (Hell Yeah!) came under scrutiny for allegations of torture at Guantanamo Bay. First of all, there is no evidence to prove this and liberals have milked this to death. Second, torture IS justified if the means justify the ends. If it will save lives, Jack would torture someone in a heartbeat. Is he a bloodthirsty sadist: No. Is he concerned with saving the most number of innocent lives: Absolutely.
Lastly, Jack has learned to dedicate himself to something greater than himself. This is the dedication to his country and the principle of justice. Season 6 began with American being gripped with fear due to widespread suicide bombings. One of the terrorists behind the attacks has agreed to turn over the location of the head terrorist who can stop the bombings in exchange for Jack Bauer, who has been in a Chinese prison for some time now. So the president arranges for Jacks release to come back to America to be handed over to, tortured, and killed by the terrorists. Jack is told what is expected of him and accepts it with ease, allowing himself to be handcuffed to a pole to wait for the terrorists to come pick him up. He only asks that his daughter not be notified so she will never know about her fathers great sacrifice(hey, a great sacrifice, kinda sounds like someone else who lived 2000 years ago. Come to think of it, he was killed by Arabs too, except they nailed him to a cross. That reminds me, liberals aren’t Christians, just saying.) The recent health care bill, well its not constitutional. Seriously, its not. It violates the constitution because it is required that any and all legislation must apply to the president and his family as well as the general public. Obama blatantly left himself out of his flawed health care plan and showed us a lack of dedication to the country he swore to serve. Shame on you Obama.
As Obama’s approval ratings drop, I cannot help but think that we are returning to our conservative roots. This is a fitting send off for Jack Bauer, a true American hero. Actually its not really a send off, a feature length 24 film is in the works. I would like to thank Jenkins for letting me write this extreme right wing propaganda. And remember, Laissez Faire (French for “let it happen, Obama could learn that lesson too.”)
