In the past few weeks I enjoyed Civ V for a couple of hours and found it to be freshly innovated. As it turns out the best feature by far is the new combat system which has truly merged tactical strategy with the series for the first time in its reputable history. Units may no longer be stacked preventing illogical dull battles know in the previous generations. The old system followed this pattern; If you have better units technologically you will win, Higher numbers will always dominate, Flanking has no effect, No longer range bombardment, and Cities impossible to capture with similar units. The New combat system allows for units such as archers etc to fire from a distance supporting swords’ man etc., The hexagonal movement results in a dramatic tactical improvement as now there are many different angles of attack. In accordance to this flanking will now provide significant bonus. The promotion system remains strong and practical. Other additions included; vastly improved graphics, more realistic city growth, better city tile distribution, and a new social policy system taking direct advantage of culture. 4.6/5

January 18, 2010 - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez referred to video games as “poison” during his weekly radio-TV show “Alo Presidente.” ”Those games they call ‘PlayStation’ are poison,” Chavez said. “Some games teach you to kill. They once put my face on a game, ‘you’ve got to find Chavez to kill him.” Then he said games where the players “bomb cities or just throw bombs” are sold by capitalist countries looking to “promote the need for cigarettes, drugs and alcohol so they can sell them.” This is referring to mercenaries 2 a game which I was searching for a review on when I came across this much more interesting occurrence. I bought the game at best buy for 8$ and found it to be quite fun, but back to the point there is nothing insinuating anything about him in this game. There is no bombing of city’s occupied by civilians either. Also another fact is there are no messages promoting drugs etc,. In the end game it is the United States vs. China hence my confusion with the president’s statements. Please comment on this rather embarrassing happening

Battlefield bad company

When it comes to sniping we discovered that most of the rifles work fine for recon, best of them are the M95 and GOL. Specs should be more ammo, spotter, and alt. fire. When playing rush I found that if on defense you should find a nice obscure location when you spawn. Then once you team falls back you stay put and then are directly at the enemy’s rear if executed properly. Then you must wait for enemy’s to expose themselves to base they are attacking then shoot. Should only be done on hardcore of course. The enemy team will think it is coming from your teams base while actually it is you behind theirs. More to come…..

I became experienced with the uav recently. It is truly critical that you have the alt. fire perk in order to gain access to the machine on the drone. However the basics are you must move as much as possible making you more challenging to shoot down. Also it a heli takes off you must shoot it down with speed because if it is an experienced player then he will instantly head for your body and actually kill you. Another type of attack is a stay low and out of site and then pop up and attack style using the missiles. Overall an interesting concept….

There is now a new feature in madden known as the ultimate team. It includes cards for players. for example there are many different randy moss cards a patriots one and a vikings card all with different ratings pending the time for the player. Each card has its own contract identification. This is the number of games the player can be used for before you lose him. Contract cards are avialible to extend your favorite players careers but it is too hard to hold on to everyone.Every game you play you gain 150-500 coins for use on bidding on cards or purchasing packs. There are 4 different packs types, bronze, silver, gold, and platinum for prices of 500, 1500, 3000, 9000 coins or ps3 store money. I hate the idea of purchasing these which is why the free option is critical though more challenging. Overall this idea has potential though someway to have them kept longer would be plausible for added enjoyment. 4/5.

Once I found out about windows 7′s release I hoped to find improvements over vista. I wanted to see and operating system with the hardware capabilities of vista and the convenience of XP. I found major frustration with certain small issues that can create big problems but then once i thought about it further it became apparent to me that this issues could be fixed and it was my point of view that prevented me from deriving this conclusion earlier. I purchase vista once every service pack had come out so I was inept of the little issues that go with a fresh os. Best features of 7 included the smart windows that adjust to make multi-tasking easy and take advantage of every inch on your screen. Also when you scroll the mouse over a tab on the bottom bar similar to XP it will show you a live mini preview of the entire window. I am sure that you will find the interface to be much smoother than any windows os. Once a couple of service packs have come out Windows 7 will be far from os perfection but still a substantial advancement in os technology and a better os than snow leopard.

This new technology has indeed revolutionized the way we watch movies at home. I have begun to truly enjoy this little details of my favorite movies much more vividly thanks to the advancement of blu-ray. I would most definitely recommend a Full HD as in 1080p capable TV vs. 480 or 720 or 1080i It truly makes a huge difference especially when combined with Full HD and good audio. Here are some of my favorites for Blu-Ray. Certain Scenes in U571 will stun you with the magnificent quality and fully remastered video. Also all the action in iron man make for a great Blu-Ray. The Pirates of the Caribbean is a similar story but what is really special about this is the deal amazon offers. 3 Blu-Ray dvds, all blockbuster films for the price of less than 2, An average Blu-Ray is $25-20 so you get $75 worth of entertainment for $45.
I have played madden for money and in all sorts of ways and have found it to be a very fair no b.s. madden for once. The Game is much smoother and quite pretty as well. The ratings have been adjusted well week by week. The new fumble feature can be quite annoying but overall this game is an enourmous improvement over the previous generations. Its too bad they disconitued the pc version but nevertheless the ps3 is up to the task. See our madden page for advice on teams and strategy. 4.3/5

Many fantastic mysteries thrown at the player in a mystically beautiful land of renaissance Italy while occupied with revenge. I wish to not give away the game but only that I found the first game to be quite repetitive while with this installment of the series I had no such feeling because of the numerous options and millions of possibilities. The new features included money making for contracts in a sort of 16th century mercenaries. The new weapons are unique and Devinci adds an entirely new face to the missions and gameplay. Also the fighting is more realistic and challenging as well as the assassinations. Here you will find an unbeatable price for a game that is truly 10/10.
