Aaron Lewis further continues my exploration of the true cowboy mentality and real American men from history for the purpose of create real men for in future. The lyrics are simple, not fancy, and directly truthful. This is a nice change up, I am not saying all music should be this way only in this particular song his directness greatly complements the style. America needs to listen to people like this. Why? Because this is what America came from and is still comprised of; simple imperfect men whom want to live the way they were born to live. The ‘new’ America is being constructed on ideals of communism but not even the brave and tough communism used successfully be Russia till its inevitable failure. This is a kind of meek socialism. However I have I full faith this country will now take a stand as Obama has awoken a monster of Change. Only this is not the Change he envisioned. We are going to change it back. Not to the early 21st century but rather to the attitude and aura of the late 18th century and all subsequent occasions when American stood tall with pride as the founding fathers intended.

With the elections just hours away, I have recently been pondering the question: What does it mean to be a liberal? I have been surrounded by conservatism all of my life so I have never really been immersed in the actual liberal ideology. So I decided to do some research (I even watched some Michael Moore movies) and I found some common answers: big government/spending, increased taxes, a strong welfare system, tolerance of all people and their rights, pro choice, anti gun, etc. This explains why so many low income people are democratic; they are trying to level the playing field between them and the rich. This is an entirely separate topic as to what I am going to examine today because something that really attracted my eye during research was the idea of a “limousine liberal.” What does this mean? It’s basically a hypocritical liberal; one who advocates benefits for the poor but they themselves are rich. Take Michael Moore for example. His most recent documentary was entitled Capitalism: A Love Story. In this documentary, he makes outrageous claims that corporations have taken over America and people are being robbed of their houses and money in the economic downturn. He also advocates socialism. The people depicted are being evicted because they can’t pay their bills (which is their fault but I will avoid going off on this tangent as well) and Michael Moore sits their and cries with them. He criticizes capitalism for justifying greed. Yet one must pay 9.50 to go see his movie in the theatre and 20 bucks or so to buy it on DVD. This is capitalism, and it is a system that has made him rich. If he really wanted socialism, he ought to show the movie for free.
I live in Alabama and I go to a private school. It is mostly made up of traditional conservatives but here and there, there are a couple of leftists. I have to wonder: If they go to private school and drive nice cars and have nice houses, why do they attack the system that gave them this. I will bet my last dollar that they will not allow a cent of their wealth to be redistributed like Obama wants. They would not give up any part of their life to pay for socialized medicine or any of that bullshit. Yet they say they would. Every liberal politician in Washington is going to act just like that: a politician. They are going to get every cent that they can and raise more money for themselves and their campaigns because if they lose, they don’t have a job. They cry and sob for their constituents who live in boxes on the sidewalk yet they cruise around washington talking to their stock broker and living the good life. And lets not forget about the rest of Hollywood. George Clooney, Michael Douglas, Tim Robbins, Danny DeVito, and many, many others have more money than they know what to do with, but they attack the system that they profited from and the organization that advocates it. So then you ask, but aren’t capitalists just as guilty? I would like to answer that with a quote from the movie Wall Street: “Greed, for lack of a better word, is good.” Nawwww I’m just kidding. Capitalism is not greed, it is free enterprise. In other words, I make money at my job and I use that to advance my interests. If my interests include keeping all of my money and buying a big ass house, then that’s that. You don’t get any, I earned it. If poor people really want money, get your ass off welfare and get a job, there’s plenty of them. In summary, liberalism is a system of contradictions and hypocrisy. You couldn’t get me to join that corrupt system no matter what

Dear President Obama, My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don’t believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert. I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos’n Mate. Now I live in a “rest home” located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country. One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man. So here goes. I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish. I can’t figure out what country you are the president of. You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like: ” We’re no longer a Christian nation” ” America is arrogant” – (Your wife even announced to the world,” America is mean- spirited. ” Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our war dead buried all over the globe who died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.) I’d say shame on the both of you, but I don’t think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House. After 9/11 you said,” America hasn’t lived up to her ideals.” Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn’t mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom. I don’t think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected. Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man. Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don’t, I’ll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue . You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves. And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don’t want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts , who was putting up a fight? You don’t mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don’t want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists. One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you’re the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you’re not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you’re thinking of. You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president. You’re not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That’s not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now. And I sure as hell don’t want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle… Sincerely, Harold B. Estes

I bought the game at best buy for 8$ and found it to be quite fun, but back to the point there is nothing insinuating anything about him in this game. There is no bombing of city’s occupied by civilians either. Also another fact is there are no messages promoting drugs etc,. In the end game it is the United States vs. China hence my confusion with the president’s statements. Please comment on this rather embarrassing happening

By Writer: Clayton “Paco” Crenshaw
While searching through Fox news.com the other day, I had to sift through stories about Obama’s health care reform to find a story that I hadn’t heard before. I found one and I gasped when I saw the tagline; “Time runs out for Jack Bauer, 24 gets cancelled after 8 seasons.” I am a huge fan of the show and have seen every single episode despite being a fan for only about a year (thank god for DVDs). I have basically been replaying every highlight of the show in my mind in preparation for the big finale and have found more to like than just the guns and explosions. I noticed several conservative political undertones that apply now more than ever. First of all, time is of the essence in the show, a notion that President Obama has yet to grasp. He said during his campaign that he would withdraw all troops from Iraq by 2009, which for the record is something that I don’t agree with. Well here we are, 2010 and no progress. In 24, every episode is exactly one hour in the plot of the show, 24 episodes=24 hours in Jack Bauer’s life. The plot of the show still continues to happen during commercials. The terrorist plots usually have a definite “time of impact” to heighten the tension. Maybe Obama should learn to have a definite time too.
So this next paragraph may be really politically incorrect, but Jack Bauer could teach Obama to not be such a liberal, both socially and politically. Politically speaking, Obama is nothing short of a communist. In fact, Fidel Castro, the communist dictator of Cuba since 1959, said that he “approved of our new health care reform bill.” Jack Bauer has taken a stand against communism multiple times during the show, the most notable of which was in the Season 4-6 story arc in which the Chinese, Arabs, and even Russians posed a direct nuclear threat to the well being of our country. Socially speaking, Jack is a man of honor and values, but not glory. He has saved our country mulitple times and has received no praise, no reward. In fact in Season 4, Jack had just stopped a nuclear missile and as a reward our paranoid president (don’t worry, he got better, he was a Republican) attempts to turn him over to the Chinese to save his own ass. Is it just me, is Obama a bit to arrogant when it comes to defending his health care plan. We’ve seen examples of how his big mouth gets him into trouble (57 states, really?) and he attempts to shrug it off his shoulders because he seems to think that he is the most charismatic person to ever sit in the Oval Office. I strongly disagree. Also, Jack Bauer and 24 have addressed the long standing moral conundrum that no one can seem to answer: the ticking time bomb scenario. In this fictional scenario, a “bad guy” knows the location of a ticking time bomb that when exploded will kill many innocent people. Is it morally OK to torture him to save more people? Jack Bauer would say yes, Obama would say no. So lets analyze this, Obama would rather respect a convicted terrorist’s “rights” and kill innocent Americans. Jack doesn’t just blindly follow the law, he strives to achieve something higher: justice, defined as “giving each his due.” He will save the greatest number of lives possible, doing “whatever it takes” as he frequently says. The Bush Administration (Hell Yeah!) came under scrutiny for allegations of torture at Guantanamo Bay. First of all, there is no evidence to prove this and liberals have milked this to death. Second, torture IS justified if the means justify the ends. If it will save lives, Jack would torture someone in a heartbeat. Is he a bloodthirsty sadist: No. Is he concerned with saving the most number of innocent lives: Absolutely.
Lastly, Jack has learned to dedicate himself to something greater than himself. This is the dedication to his country and the principle of justice. Season 6 began with American being gripped with fear due to widespread suicide bombings. One of the terrorists behind the attacks has agreed to turn over the location of the head terrorist who can stop the bombings in exchange for Jack Bauer, who has been in a Chinese prison for some time now. So the president arranges for Jacks release to come back to America to be handed over to, tortured, and killed by the terrorists. Jack is told what is expected of him and accepts it with ease, allowing himself to be handcuffed to a pole to wait for the terrorists to come pick him up. He only asks that his daughter not be notified so she will never know about her fathers great sacrifice(hey, a great sacrifice, kinda sounds like someone else who lived 2000 years ago. Come to think of it, he was killed by Arabs too, except they nailed him to a cross. That reminds me, liberals aren’t Christians, just saying.) The recent health care bill, well its not constitutional. Seriously, its not. It violates the constitution because it is required that any and all legislation must apply to the president and his family as well as the general public. Obama blatantly left himself out of his flawed health care plan and showed us a lack of dedication to the country he swore to serve. Shame on you Obama.
As Obama’s approval ratings drop, I cannot help but think that we are returning to our conservative roots. This is a fitting send off for Jack Bauer, a true American hero. Actually its not really a send off, a feature length 24 film is in the works. I would like to thank Jenkins for letting me write this extreme right wing propaganda. And remember, Laissez Faire (French for “let it happen, Obama could learn that lesson too.”)
