</p><p>I finally managed to get my driver&#8217;s license in Alabama there will be an article to follow based on reverse racisism in the lower parts of the alabamian state government. On to the tundra, i got this truck used, it is the 4wd drive version with a 5.7 L V8 engine which I find to be the best feature. It will rip the dirt with slight application to gas, it feels like a real truck not a half-ass tough truck we find on the modern market. Other features i like include many nice hidden compartments as well as 7 drink holders in the front. The cab has plently of room in the front and back. The speakers are only average which is why I will get a custom system put in hopefully within the near future.</p>

This vehicle is both sexy smooth and beastly strong. A 46 hp engine provides more than enough power for high speed operating and the feeling of total control in all conditions. The standard wheels are acceptable for all terrain maneuvering but mud tires aren&#8217;t a bad choice either. The suspension is nothing short of amazing, especially after dealing with the dreaded kubota. True 4wd and diff. lock are a standard of course as well as a fully computerized sort of machine manger that tracks the machine&#8217;s vitals. A winch is never a bad addition however, just in case. For a 4 wheeled atv and utility vehicle the 2010 ranger comes out ahead of all competitors for years to come.</p>
<p>Getting other vehicles unstuck is another skill I just learned about. My friend took a poor route in our argocat and was stuck in deep mud, deep enough that it shorted the argo&#8217;s which so then I hook up the ranger to his poor victim of a vehicle and winched in. The ranger slipped some so then I just went from neutral to reverse, the argo was instantly ripped right out of the mud. It was an amazing experience from an ATV drivers typical expectations. A true powerhouse. <p><strong>Mud:</strong></p>

<p>The low ground clearance may be a woe for the machine in this aspect of terrain. Still the paddle-style wheels come in very handy allowing the machine to pull its way through the mud even if bottomed out. The 8 tires make a big difference due to the increase in surface area per square inch thus allowing less of a rut. Although the machine is still stronger than most in this aspect this is probably its biggest weakness.</p>
<p><strong>Rocky and Woodland</strong></p>

<p>The wheels will take abuse from excessive navigation on many large (12&#8243; + diameter) rocks, anything smaller and you will be fine. I driven in low the amount of rocks traversed is not a factor due to the lack of pressure on the tires. It is likely that you will opt out of driving quickly on large rocks anyway because the wheels are the machines only suspension. A trip such as that would be most unpleasant. Also beware of bottoming out in situations such as these. The argocat will knock sizable trees right down without risk to the transmission thanks to the hull needed for the amphibious capability. It is very well protected against sticks and so on. The turn on a dime steering style comes in very handy when weaving threw the forest off-road with must avoid objects.</p>

<p>The machine is as said, amphibious. This comes with some limitations however. I taken it to the extreme in this category see below for the story. I wouldn&#8217;t take it against anything more than a mild current, this also means you shouldn&#8217;t expect to fly when in water about 3-4mph consistent speed. If the machine has been beat up or over time has accumulated holes it will indeed sink pending size of holes, I nearly learnt this the hard way (thanks to a bilge pump, a great accessory).</p>
<p><strong>Hills: </strong></p>

One of the strongest aspects if not the strongest aspect of the argocat. I have taken this machine up near 80 degree inclines (about 78). That is amazing to have a machine with a center of gravity low enough to make this possible. Also adds to the safety of the machine overall making it that much more stable on more common inclines and at speed.</p>
